Research Notes
Marlyn Lewis, based on Brent Ruesch's Research Notes, shows Maud's father to be Sir John le Strange, 2nd Lord Strange of Blackmere b. 25 Jan 1306, d. 21 Jul 1349, and his mother to be Ankaret le Boteler d. 8 Oct 1361[2]
Lewis acknowledges, however, that Maud is not shown as a daughter of these parents by Richardson. Lewis reports specifically, "This daughter is not known to Plantagenet Ancestry, p. 109.[3][4]
