Birth and Parents

Angharad is the daughter of Gruffydd ap Madog, Lord of Bromfield, Dinas Bran, second husband of her mother, Emme , daughter of Henry de Audley , Sheriff of Shropshire and Staffordshire.[1] Emma's first husband, Henry Tuchet, died before 8 January 1242.[2]

1261 First Marriage to William le Boteler

Ankaret, or Angharad, married William le Boteler by license dated 2 October 1261. [2] William was of Oversley, Warwickshire, Dodington and Loppington, Shropshire. Richardson shows two children, William and Anne, of their union.

In 1282 and 1283 William fought in Wales. [2]

Shortly before 11 December 1283 William le Boteler died. [2]

1277 Court Case

In 1277 William and Ankaret engaged in a court case against Walter de Finchingfeld. [2]

1284 Second Marriage to Sir Robert de Neville

Ankaret married secondly before 10 June 1285 Sir Robert de Neville of Scotton, Lincolnshire[1] They had one daughter, Elizabeth. [2]:

Ankaret was living 22 June 1308. Sir Robert de Neville died 1313/14.[2]
