Indenture whereby William Wheler, John Bedell, Robert Parker, William Welde the elder, of Highwode, Thomas Gebon, Thomas Hawkyn, smith, and Robert Lityll, conveyed to Henry Wheler, brother of the said William, Thomas Sawall, tanner, John Munke, William Illy, and Thomas, son of the said William Welde, a garden, two crofts, and a piece of pasture, containing about nine acres, lying in Writill, between land called 'Andrewes,' a common called 'Highwode,' etc, which they had jointly with Thomas Hawkyn, smith, the elder, deceased, by the gift of William Parker, William Sawall, and the said Thomas Sawall, and also a yearly rent of 6d. issuing out of a croft of land in Writill. For this conveyance, payment of 93s. 4d. is to be made by Henry Wheler to William Wheler before the 28th day of November. Wednesday after Christmas, 2 Edward IV.
