Biography
The Mainwaring of Ightfield pedigree in the Visitation of Shropshire noted Gruffith Warren as the son of John Warren and Matilda Cheney. He had a sister Margaret, who married William Manwaring.[1]
Griffin aged 13 was noted as the son and heir of John Wareyn in the Inquisition Post Mortem of his father in 1413.[2] John Wareyn had held the manor of Ightfield, Shropshire.
Griffin died in 1415. The Inquisition Post Mortem of Griffin Wareyn.[3] Writ 18 Oct. 1415. Inquisition. Whitchurch. 17 Dec. He held the manor of Ightfield, Shropshire. He died on 5 Oct. last. Margaret daughter of John Wareyn is his sister and heir aged 13 years and more.
