His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was John (c1460-<1531).

Note: Location reference Clederax may be Clitheroe, Lancastershire. Strelley is in Nottinghamshire. The Hodgkinson definitely spread accross those counties. With two of the three men spread across these two coutines, William could either have still been from Yorkshire or have moved to some place in between. The date of 1445 says William is likely just of age and listed as a husbandman, which makes sense when we remember his great grandfater had land grants between Shropshire and York.
