Note: John II of Nash inherited property in Bedfordshire in 1418. His son’s inheritance would make him the only Hawkins with Bedfordshire property during this timeframe. His children were born in 1415-1435. Leaving some of that property to a son makes sense. Also, he in turn wanting to sell it as he entered his old age at 62 also makes sense [1490 - 1428 = 62].
