Biography

Sir Thomas de Ferrers, Justiciar of Cheshire, Keeper of the Channel Islands married Ankaret le Boteler, daughter of Sir William le Boteler, 1st Lord Boteler of Wem and Ela de Herdeburgh, after 21 July 1349; No issue.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Sir Thomas de Ferrers, Justiciar of Cheshire, Keeper of the Channel Islands died circa 28 July 1353 at Fairstead, Essex, England; Also held Moor End and Plumpton, Northamptonshire.[1][2][4]

His Inquisition Post Mortem noted that his heir was William de Ferariis, son of Henry de Ferariis, the brother of Thomas. It also referred to "Ankaretta la Straunge, sometime wife of the said Thomas de Ferariis".[7]
