Note: This will is severly damaged and only the 6 pieces above are partially readable. It looks like something that was foldded up and carried in someone’s pocket. Also, there are many words show clear versions of parts of the name Hotchkiss. Note that Ashe was the seat of John’s father Richard and brother Sir William. Also note that Hosborne is all but non-existant in records, with one other in 1549 in Loppington, and although Osborne does start up not long after, in 1558, it didn’t exist in Shropshire previously.
