Aged Pioneer Dead.
Mrs. Sarah E. Hotchkiss, who has been in poor health for some time past, died at her home in the west prt of the city Saturday at yh age of 80 years. She had been a resident of St. Johns since its early history although her girlhood days were spent at Long Island where she was born October 10, 1831.
She was married December 1, 1852, but the husband Micahel D. Hotchkiss died in October, 1891. Of the six children three survive, Mrs. Frank Wheeler of Eureka, Fred L Hotchkiss of Detroit, and Arthur E Hotchkiss of Grand Legde.
