Biography
Humphrey Baskerville was the 5th son of Sir James Baskerville and Elizabeth Breynton.[1][2][3][4][5]
His brothers were James Baskerville , John Baskerville , Sir Thomas Baskerville , and Walter Baskerville .[1][2][3][4][5]
In the will of his father, the will made on 04 Jan 35 Henry VIII [04 Jan 1543/1544] and proved on 09 Dec 1546, Humfrey was bequeathed the lease of Brenfelde in the parish of Bredwardyn [Bredwardine, Herefordshire].[6]
Marriage and Children
He married Elynor, daughter and heir of John Aguilliam of Lambedre in the County of Radnor.[1][4][5] In the Baskerville Pedigree in the Heraldic Visitations of Wales and part of the Marches it was recorded that Humphrey Baskerville, son of Sir James Baskerville and Elizabeth Breinton, married Eleanor, sole heir to John ap Rys ap Gwillim ap Meuric.[7]

Career
He was a beneficiary of the will of his brother Sir James Baskerville, the will made on 18 Aug 1572 and proved on 10 Feb 1573/1574.[8][9]

Research Notes
The Owen Pedigrees in the Visitation of Shropshire[10][11] confused this Humphrey Baskerville with the Humphrey Baskerville, Alderman of London, the husband of Jane Pakington. They were clearly different people.
