was daughter of “Thomas Garnon of Gloucestershire.” This is unsupported by any
contemporary record and contradicted by both Sir Thomas Hill’s 1485 will naming her Tylor
and her own 1501 will naming her sister Tilney as a maiden name. The Garnon attribution is
therefore considered spurious and excluded from this database.
