Translation:

Will of William Hotchkiss proved. For [the said] will of William Hotchkiss, ✝ Alice, left [widow]

of the deceased and the executor, ✝ committed the oath.

Note: Both first name and surname have sections of letters overwritten to save space, resulting in the names being

unrecognizable if you don't understand this. This is how the transcriber got Clissy Hassall for a name.
