In 4 Edward III [25 January 1330-24 January 1331], at Chester, Ellen who was the wife of Richard de Fouleshurst sued Richard son of Richard de Fouleshurst for dower of one hundred messuages, fourteen tofts, twelve salt pits, sixty-two acres —, one acre of meadow and a moeity of one salt pit [3 & 4 Edw. 3. m. 11 d].[2]
