Katherine was born about 1400 in England, the daughter of unknown parents.

Her husband was John Hotchkiss / Hawkins, who she married in ABT 1425. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Thomas (c1430-?), Simon (c1432-1499), John (c1433-1493) and Ricardus (c1435-?).
