!P: Thomas Washington, 86, a resident of Burlingame for 25 years until more recently when he moved to Girard died Saturday at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1873, in England and came to the United States at the age of nine. He came to Burlingam e with his parents.
!P: He was a member of the Episcopal church and a hoisting engineer in coal mines during his active years.
!P: Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Federated church in Burlingame and burial was in the local cemetery.
!P: He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Percy Cole of Pittsburg, Kan., and Mrs. Arthur Coil of Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Thomas P. Washington; and two brothers, Arthur of California and William of Wadsworth, Kan.; six sisters, Mrs. Nellie Griff in and Mrs. Margaret Burkett, both of Burlingame, Mrs. Emma Beason of Topeka, Mrs. Polly Meggeson and Mrs. Artie Gim of Pleasant Valley, Ia., Mrs. Annie Hagge of Chicago; one grandaughter, Mrs. L. K. Stevens of Salt Lake City , Utah; and two grea t grand-children. ------
