!Notes: Leo graduated from Stout Institute in Menominie, Wisconsin in June 1925 with a degree in Industrial Arts Education. He was a teacher of Industrial Arts shop classes, seventh and eighth grades, for the Detroit Board of Education for 36 yea rs, retiring in March, 1964.
!P: Gardining was a favorite pastime for Leo and he loved to draw. He was always active in church activities and in June 1972 became Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at St. Priscilla Church, Livonia, Michigan. He was also a member of th e third Order of St. Francis.
!P: Leo died suddenly of a heart attack, while pouring cement for a low, extra wide step at their side door to make it easier for his wife, Margaret, to use her walker. She had suffered a fractured hip. The unfinished step was a sad reminder fo r Margaret until a sympathetic neighbor boy came by and did the best he could to smooth it over and finish it.
