Jimmy Allen graduated from college in Kansas and received a B.S. in Economics and a degree in Philosophy. He worked for Kimberly Clark Corporation for a number of years - he was Regional Vice President. He was also in Venture Capital investments , and the financial securities business.

IRVINE, Calif.-James Allen Hotchkiss, 61, Irvine, Calif., formerly of Burlingame, died Sat., March 5, 1994 at an Irvine Hospital.

Mr. Hotchkiss was a financial consultant and had lived in California more than 25 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and had worked at Beach Aircraft in Wichita several years ago.

He was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Burlingame, the son of Neal S. and Zona McLeod Hotchkiss. He was reared in Burlingame and was graduated from Harveyville High School. He attended Wichita State University and received a masters of business administr ation degree there.

He was married to Louise Popvich, whom he met in San Francisco, California. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Laura Goodrich, Irvine, Calif., and Leslie Hotchkiss, Irvine, Calif.; a son, Philip Hotchkiss, Corona Del Mar, Calif.; his father Neal S. Hotchkiss, Burlingame; a sister, Twila Grissinger, Titusville, Fla. ; a brother, Darrel Hotchkiss, Burlingame; and two half sisters, Jennie Foutz, Lawton, Okla., and Emily Hotchkiss, Seattle,

Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Burlingame Cemetery. Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame, was in charge of arrangements. --
