Her husband was David Easton, who she married on 10 SEP 1893. The place has not been found. !Obituary: [The Enterprise-Chronicle, Burlingame, Osage County, Kansas, 3 Jul 1052] -- Funeral Rites Held Here Last Sunday for Mrs. David Easton --

!P: Funeral services for Mrs. David Easton, 78, were held Sunday afternoon, June 29, 1952, at 2:00 o'clock at the Carey Funeral Home, Rev. S. N. McCain of the Burlingame Federated Church officiating. Selected hymns, "Going Down the Valley" and "In the Garden", were sung by Mrs. Kenneth Bolton and Mrs. Van Snoddy, accompanied by Mrs. W. G. Beale at organ. Burial was in the Burlingame cemetery.

!P: Isabella Ferguson, daughter of Cornelius and Elizabeth Taylor Ferguson, was born July 2nd, 1874, at Skinflats, Bothkennar, Scotland, where she grew to young womanhood. She became a member of the Presbyrtian church and was married in Scotland to the late David Easton.

!P: To this union eleven children were born. A son Cornelius and a daughter Agnes passing away in infancy. Surviving are four sons, George of Jerome, Idaho; David, Thomas and Alexander of Burlingame; five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Leslie of Kansas City; Miss Janet Easton of home, Mrs. Isabella Cole, Burlingame; Mrs. Christina Heaton of Pheonix, Arizona and Mrs. Jeanie Maple, Burlingame. Also sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother Peter Ferguson of Stirlingshire, Scotland, and a number of nieces and nephews.

!P: Since comming to America in 1911 she has made her home in Burlingame and following the death of her husband in June 1918 she bravely took over the task of raising her children. Although she had hard times no complaint ever passed her lips and she lived to complete her role of motherhood in seeing her children grow to manhood and womanhood.

!P: Plagued by ill health for the past 15 years, the last twelve of which she had been totally bedfast, she was lovingly cared for in her home by her daughter Janet and son Thomas. Although suffering much pain she remained cheerful and uncomplaining. Two days before death came she entered into a comma and passed peacefully away on Thursday afternoon, June 26, 1952.

Thomas Jones and Neal S. Hotchkiss of Wichita; Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Merrel and Mrs. Norman Brady of Emporia. --
