!Sources: Her marriage was recorded in the "Register of Marriages of the City of Edinburgh, 1751-1800" at the Scottish Record Society, and the "Old Parochial Registers, Edinburgh Parish Marriages, 1787-1800". This marriage was also found in the IGI. Gravestone inscription shows her deathdate.

!Notes: Of College Kirk Parish at the time of her marriage. She was the only lawfull daughter of the deceased Richard Gardner, Assistant Comptroller General of the Customs in Scotland.
