!P: Double services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church for Harley D. [David] Fillmore, 39 and his brother, Mark E. Fillmore, 34, both of Osage City.

!P: The Floriday Highway Patrol said the brothers were killed early Thursday, March 8, 1990, when their van hit a disabled tractor-trailer parked in the emergency lane of Interstate 95 near St.. Augustine, Fla.

!P: The brothers started a motorcycle business in 1973 in Osage City.

!P: After the partnership was disolved, David Fillmore was a tire builder fo 20 years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Topeka. He had served in the 129th Transportation Co., Army Researves, in Osage City.

!P: David Fillmore was a life member of the National Rifle Association.

!P He was married to Kristine M. Lindbloom on June 14, 1969, in Stotler in Lyon County. She survuves.

!P: Other survivors include a daughter, Shari B. Fillmore of the home and a son, Brian T. Fillmore of the home.

!P: Mark Fillmore continued the motorcycle business after the partnership was dissolved and operated Fillmore Suzuki and Kawasaki in Osage City. He opened a second store in 1979 in Topeka, Topeka Tour and Trail, then added John Deere products in 1987 to both locations.

!P: He was a professional motorcycle racer and stood third in 1989 in the Kansas Off the Road Riders Association. He also founded his own professional racing team in 1989.

!P: He was born Dec. 18, 1955, in Emporia and was graduated in 1973 from Osage City High School.

!P: Mark Fillmore was amember of the American Motorcycle Association.

!P: He was married to Debra J. Decock on May 14, 1977, in Osage City. She survives.

!P: Other survivors for both brothers include their parents, Edd and Joan Fillmore, Osage City; three brothers, Max Fillmore, Kansas City, Kan., and Joe Fillmore and Nathan Fillmore, both of Osage City; and their grandmother, Ethel Fillmore, Lebo.

!P: David Fillmore was buried in Alpine Cemetery south of Osage City. Mark Fillmore was buried in Osage City Cemetery. Crable Funeral Chapel in Osage City was in charge of arrangements.

!P: Memorial contributions for David Fillmore may be designated for the Shari and Brian Fillmore Education Fund. Contributions for Mark Fillmore may be made to a fund to be designated. Donations for both brothers may be left at the funeral chapel. --
