Joshua was born on 7 MAY 1689 in Bristol, Rhode Island, the son of Joshua Finney and Mercy Watts.
He died in 1781 in Lebanon, Connecticut.
His wife was Martha Carter. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were William (1715-1781), Joshua (1716-1716), Mary Mercy (1718-?), Martha (1720-?), John (1721-1788) and Oliver (1728-?).
