George was born about 1817, the son of George Corbet and Mary Black. The place is not known.
He died in 1871 in Carronshore, Stirlingshire, Scotland.
His wife was Mary Ann Henderson. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their seven known children were George (1838-1874), Mary Ann (c1843-1916), Peter (1845-1890), Marion (1847-?), James (1850-?), Helen (1852-1925) and Janet (1854-?).
