Comments: Re-post:I've decided to add another site update over the holidays. The new update includes the following: 1. 25,762 individuals and 8,391 families. 2. Research on my niece's maternal lines. 3. Since people were making an attempt to go one generation further on several of the Hotchkiss lines, and I couldn't find any logic for their choice of the next generation, I used what information is available to pick the most likely next generation, and tried to include that logic in the notes. If you have any different logic, please comment. 4. I've begun working on the other English lines. As we don't yet know if they are related to any of the existing lines, you will find sets of several generations of disconnected families beginning to appear. I'm definitely hoping for comments and more information from their descendants.

Comments: This site has now been updated for the first time in over a year.It now has 25,583 individuals and 8,348 families in the Genealogical Index. Aside from adding additional lines to my own immediate family, the main portion of the work was making the Scottish portion of the Hotchkiss family as complete as possible. All possible Parish records have been linked to the tree in using data from Scotland's people, as have all records from ancestry.com with Scottish birth, marriage or death records, and associated Census records and necessary Statutory records from Scotland's People. Remaining Statutory records will be random lockups, which cost money and often require ordering paper certificates as they are for recent records or for living people. Enjoy the results, and please send in the resent history of your own lines if you find your links so that the site may be more complete. Thank you.

Comments: Looking for my maternal Grandmothers and Grandfathers were information. I found my Grandmother but not anything about the history. She was born to a Turnbull/Black union. Then married a Harrison. Good info here, thank you.
